EUREKA, IL - The Funeral Of Rachel Louise Zimmerman, 60, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, formerly of Eureka, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Metamora Mennonite Church, the Rev. Roger Hochstetler officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery, Metamora. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Otto-Argo Funeral Home, Eureka, and one hour before the service at the church Thursday.

Mrs. Zimmerman died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday (March 25, 1989) at Tompkins Health Center, Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was born May 8, 1928, in Eureka, a daughter of Alvin and Barbara Garber Schertz. She married Marvin Zimmerman in 1949 in Meadows. He survives. Also surviving are one son, Joe, Fort Dodge, Iowa; one daughter, Diane Jones, Fort Dodge, Iowa; and three grandchildren. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Fort Dodge, the VFW Auxiliary in Fort Dodge, Four Fun chapter of the National Campers' and Hikers' Association and the Happy Holiday Ramblers' Club in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
