Jane was born on Sept. 7, 1954 in Clarion, Iowa, the daughter of Gerald and Jean (Allenberg) Arne. Jane was united in marriage to Tom Quammen on June 6, 1980 at St. George Catholic Church in Long Lake. Jane was born to a large family, a loving family; Jane’s priorities are God, family and friends. Her gifts are many, and she shares them all. Her strengths are courage, class, dignity and love. Jane taught us all how to live and love each other. The world’s materialistic worries were the least of her concerns. Her body was the temple of the Lord, and she fought to keep it pure. Though breast cancer tried to battle her, she knew the ultimate victory would be hers. Thank you, Jane, love Tom, Tommy and Matthew. Your family and friends will carry your spirit. We’ll keep our angel close.
