Glenn Allard Meets Death In Newman;

Services were held Saturday in Evans Funeral Chapel for Glenn Almon Allard, 77, who died Thanksgiving evening in a Newman California rest home after a long illness. Interment was in Patterson. [California] District cemetery. Mr. Allard, who was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, came to the Los Angeles area in 1911 and married his wife Alma, March 16, 1928. The family moved to Patterson in 1929. A retired rancher, Allard was a past president of Patterson Rotary Club, a former vice president, of the Production Credit Association in Modesto and served 25 years as president of the Federal Land Bank in Modesto. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Almon Allard of McCracken Road; two sons, Leland of Patterson and Robert Allard, a professor at the University of California in Davis, and seven grandchildren.
