Erma Belle Hendrickson, the daughter of Charles and Daisy (Wickwire) Imboden, was born September 30, 1912 in Ronson County, North Dakota. When she was a young child the family moved to Eagle Grove where she grew up and attended Eagle Grove Schools, graduating from Eagle Grove High School in 1930. Erma was employed at the Scotts Store and Albaugh Dry Goods and Ready to Wear until 1953. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Roy I. Hendrickson of Dows, Iowa on March 22, 1953, at the Baptist Church in Eagle Grove. They made their home in Eagle Grove and Erma was a homemaker. Erma attended First Assembly of God Church in Eagle Grove. Erma passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Rotary Ann Nursing Home in Eagle Grove, at the age of 96 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roy, who died in 1984. Survivors include her nephew Raymond Thompson and his family of California.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 22, 2009, at 11:00 am at Assembly of God Church in Eagle Grove with Pastor Fran and Pastor George Pettigrew officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at Foust Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Foust Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
