Carrie Fuller, 86, of Belmond died Monday, Nov. 6 at the Alterra Sterling House of the Oaks, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Nov. 9, at 10:30, at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Belmond. Burial will be in the St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Tenold Funeral Home in Belmond on Wednesday, from 2 to 8 p.m. with a Parish Rosary at 2:30 p.m. and a Scripture Service at 7 p.m.

Carrie D. Fuller, 86, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000. Funeral Mass was held Thursday, Nov. 9, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at Belmond with Fr. David Beckman and Deacon Nick Schmit officiating. Janyce Kinseth was organist; Maxine Whitty, cantor; and Veronica Benetti was the lector. Eucharistic Ministers were Regina Lamoreux and Sharon Johnson. Ushers were Lillian McLaughlin and Robert McNamara. Casket bearers were James Fuller, Matt Fuller, Katie Fuller, Geoff Fuller, Dave Robbins and Merle Robbins.

Carrie D. Swalve the daughter of Dick and Francis (Behrends) Swalve was born February 6, 1914, in Avery Township near Klemme. She was united in marriage to Sumner Fuller on July 3, 1937 at Belmond. They farmed for several years on the family farm near Goodell; then on a farm north of Belmond, where they farmed until they retired to Belmond in 1977. Sumner Fuller died in 1977, and Carrie continued to live in Belmond until three years ago when she moved to Alterra Sterling House of the Oaks, an assisted living facility in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Carrie was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Belmond; she liked to play bridge and enjoyed fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Sumner. Survivors are her four sons and three daughters-in-law, Dennis and Barbara Fuller of Rudolph, WI, Steve Fuller of Ames, Greg and Kathy Fuller of Wichita Falls, TX, Ronald and Sue Fuller of Bradley, IL; grandchildren and their spouses, James and Pat Fuller, Josh Fuller, Matt and Susan Fuller, Geoff Fuller; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Amy and Gabriel; sister, Florence Albers of Klemme; and brother, Clarence Swalve of Los Angeles, CA.
