Guadalupe Ayala, 68, of Glenwood, formerly of Fort Dodge, died on Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, in the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Bruch officiating. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Surviving is her brother, John Ayala and his wife Susie of Fort Dodge; sisters, Angie Balch and her husband Leon of Corona, CA, Beatrice Wilson and her husband Eddie of Waterloo, Margaret Hall and her husband Jim of Boone; brother-in-law Eldon Wilson of Fort Dodge, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Leanor (Ramos) Ayala, a brother, Joie Ayala and a sister Mary Wilson. Guadalupe Ayala was born Dec. 12, 1940 in Clarion. As a young child she and her family moved to Fort Dodge where Lupe attended school. She made her home in Fort Dodge with her family for many years. Lupe was active at Iowa Central Industries. In 2002 she moved to Atlantic where she worked at Cass Industries. In 2006 Lupe became a resident of Park Place in Glenwood. Lupe was a very caring person. She loved her family and was a wonderful and loving aunt. Memorials may be left at the discretion of the family.
