Robert Duane Philbrook, 75, of Kamrar died of a stroke Thursday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Faith United Methodist Church in Webster City, with burial at Cass Township Cemetery there. Mr. Philbrook was born in Webster City and had moved to Kamrar 32 years ago. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Martin Marietta Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Kamrar United Methodist Church and American Legion and Moose Lodge, both in Webster City. He is survived by his wife, Lois, a daughter, Carolyn Meier of Bettendorf four sons, Michael of Rowan, Randall and Gregory, both of Kamrar, and Bruce of Maize, Kan. two sisters, Ellen Hall of Portola, Calif., and Kathleen Hemmen of Webster City four brothers, Roy Coslow of Britt, Arthur Philbrook of Webster City, Richard Philbrook of Leavenworth, Kan., and John Philbrook of Kamrar 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the church. Becker Funeral Home in Jewell is handling arrangements.
