WILLISTON, FL -- Faye Parmenter Bruns, 96, an artist, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 1997, at Nature Coast Regional Hospital in Williston. Mrs. Bruns was a native of Hardy, Iowa, and came here 64 years ago from Live Oak. She was a member of the Williston Woman's Club, the Pink Ladies Auxiliary of Nature Coast Regional Hospital and was a charter member of the Tuesday Morning Williston Bridge Club. Mrs. Bruns was Presbyterian and played piano at her church for many years. She also donated several of her oil paintings to what is now Nature Coast Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Van L. Bruns, and a son, Lt. Waldo C. Bruns, who was killed in World War II. Survivors include a niece, Betty P. Hiemenz, Ocala. Knauff Funeral Home, Williston, is handling arrangements.
