Phelan L. Lamson OF Bozeman Dies at Age of 73

Bozeman, June 29

Phelan Leroy Lamson, a resident of Montana since 1896, is dead at 73. Born in Goldfield, Iowa, he made the overland trail trip across this state with his parents at the age of four. The family located in Oregon. On attaining manhood, Mr. Lamson chose Montana for his home and settled in this area as a ranchman. Mr. Lamson married Elisa A. Cook in 1902. She survives, with a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Blattie, of Sedan.
