Death came Monday to one of Belmond's pioneer merchants, Oscar T. Jacobson, 86. He purchased the Jacobson Store, a mercantile business, from his father and continued to operate the store until his wife's death in 1944. Surviving are his daughter, Mildred Leinbach; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
