February 19, 1907 -- May 27, 1993

Mildred Mae Shafer Crawford; Daughter of Edmund and Matie (Doolittle) Shafer. On Sept. 24, 1955, she married Jacob Crawford in Webster City. They farmed near Iowa Falls and moved into Iowa Falls in 1966. Her husband died Sept. 1973. She has resided at Crestview Manor for several years. She is survivied by step-children and their spouses, Howard & Evelyn Crawford, Cedar Rapids, Nancy & Rex Mead, Mountain Home, Ark.; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; sister, Pearl Hamman, Webster City; half- brother, Ralph Shafer, Kansas; 3 nieces and 2 nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a half-brother. Burial in Cass Center Cemetery, Hamilton County, Iowa.
