Sp/5 Terry Boyd was home on leave and was trapping near Belmond with Wayne Lamfers when the revolver Terry was carrying accidentally discharged and inflicted a fatal wound to the young serviceman. Funeral services were held November 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church.
