March 22,1996Gladyce Graham, 77, Webster City, died March 21, 1996, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. The body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Webster City, with Rev. Mike Morgan officiating. Burial will be at the Troy Township Cemetery, south of Eagle Grove. Foster Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
Gladyce Geraldine Williams, daughter of Josiah and Sarah Spangle Williams, was born Aug. 16, 1918, in Duncombe. She was educated in the Troy Township rural school, south of Eagle Grove. She also attended an art school in Eagle Grove.
On June 6, 1938, she married Howard Graham in Blue Earth, Minn. The couple resided south of Webster City and in 1940, they moved to a farm northeast of Blairsburg. In 1978, they retired to Webster City. She had been employed at Crestview Manor for several years and had also been a provider of Home Health Care.She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Linda Graham, Ellsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Philip Morris, Montrose, Colo., Janelle and Glenn Martin, Pueblo, Colo.; grandchildren, Steve and Scott Graham, Suzanne, Maresa and Daniel Martin, Stacy MacKinen and Spencer Morris; great-grandson, Alex MacKinen; brothers, Lee Williams and Robert Williams, both of Woolstock, Albert Williams, Kansas City, Mo.; sisters, Elsa Coyle, Brea, Calif., Anna Orr, Eagle Grove; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alice Young, Rachel Harrison, Elizabeth Mills, Laura Ritchey, and Luella Jotten; and brothers, Archie and Ralph Williams.
