MINERAL WELLS, Texas - Russel Wendell Cameron, a farmer, died Friday in his home. He was 78. Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Renwick Baptist Church in Renwick, Iowa. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Goldfield, Iowa. Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells is in charge of local arrangements. Mr. Cameron moved to Mineral Wells 11 years ago and was Baptist. The family suggests that memorials be made to North Oak Senior Citizen Center in Mineral Wells. Survivors: Wife, Genevie Cameron of Mineral Wells; four sons, Larry Cameron, Lyle Cameron, Kenneth Cameron and Mark Cameron, all of Iowa; daughter, Colleen Porath of Iowa; stepson, Charles Whetstone of Mineral Wells; stepdaughter, Ruth Handley of Garland; three brothers, Alan Cameron of Minnesota, Ben Cameron of Alaska and Robert Cameron of Iowa; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
