COEUR D'ALENE -- Viewing for Ernest F. Starr, 89, will be today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene. Service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Cemetery, Riverview Section in Coeur d'Alene. Mr. Starr, who was born in Renwick, Iowa, died Monday. He lived in Iowa before moving to the Coeur d'Alene area in 1948 with his mother and brothers. Mr. Starr worked as a carpenter in the home construction business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Survivors include a sister, Ruth Bann of Minneapolis; and close friends, Marv and Betty Towner of Coeur d'Alene.
