Avis Quandt was born in Belmond, Iowa on Jan 16th, 1935 and died in San Antonio, Texas on Aug 28th, 2008 at the age of 73. She is preceded in death by her husband Edwin Henry Quandt, her parents David Scott and Ella Mae Pierce, and her brother David Pierce, sister-in-law, Dorothy Pierce and Barbara Pierce. She is survived by her twin sister Mavis Gunderson, sister Marcia Buckles, her brother Jimmy Pierce, her sons Harold and Brian, her daughter in law Pat, her grandchildren Alecia, Mary, and Brian, and her great grandchildren Analiese and Angelina. Funeral services will be conducted at Dellcrest Funeral Home in San Antonio on Wednesday, September 3rd at 12:30 PM with internment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
