*********************************
Last month, the Water Works lost a friend. James Allen Crafton, known to most of us as "Jay", died in Iowa City on January 14, 1988, from complications following surgery. To those of us who knew Jay, he was in inspiration. Though he suffered from hemophilia, and was in pain much of the time, he still made the extra effort to keep on going. He was the only hemophiliac in the state of Iowa to hold down a full-time job. He made the most of each day and taught us all about true courage. We will miss your laughter, your smile . . . . we will miss you, Jay.
