Gladys Grove, 93, Villa Park Care Center, died Friday morning at the center following a long illness. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Gunderson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Allen E. Hermeier, pastor of St. Olaf Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Survivors include sons, Roger, Albert and Jerry, all of Fort Dodge, and Jim, Callendar; daughters, Mrs. Francis (Cedora) Streff, Hilmar, Calif., and Mrs. Orvin (Mary) Arthur, Eagle Grove; and 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Gladys Eggsphuler [Eggspuehler] was born at Plover and attended Pocahontas Catholic schools. In 1914 she married Ernest Grove in Des Moines. They lived in Mallard until moving to Minnesota in 1923. The couple moved to Fort Dodge in 1944. He died in 1947. She has been a resident of the Villa Park Care Center for two years.
