Bernadine R. Schwab, 65, of Ely, Iowa died Friday, Sept. 2, 1994, in Mercy Medical Center after a long illness. Memorial services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Asbury United Methodist Church. Burial of cremains: Hansell. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Teahen Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Leo; four sons, Mike and Garry, both of Cedar Rapids, Tom of Central City and Alan of Wichita, Kan.; and three daughters, Berna Lee Stockman of Dayton, Ohio, and Bobby Rayburn and Patty Schwab, both of Wichita, Kan. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Born April 2, 1929, in Belmond, Bernadine married Leo Schwab on April 30, 1950, in Hampton. A memorial fund has been established.
