Beulah Rosetta Strouse, 89, of Kendallville, Indiana, a member of St. John Lutheran Church, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at Parkview Noble Hospital. The Alexander, Iowa, native had worked for G.C. Murphy's as inventory clerk and for McCray Memorial Hospital and Kendallville Manor in cafeterias. Surviving are daughters Linda Bortner and Janet Reade, both of Kendallville, Marilyn Klink of Wolcottville and Jane Parker of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a sister, Glenna Blue of Kendallville; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, sons James D. and Russell Edsall, and a sister. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Berhalter-Hutchins Funeral Home, Kendallville, with calling from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Avilla Lutheran Cemetery, Avilla.
