Marjorie Malek, 87, died on Friday, January 13, 2006, at her home in Lamont, Illinois. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 18, 2006. Marjorie was born on August 6, 1918, the daughter of Harvey and Elizabeth Christenson. She graduated from the Goodell High School in 1935 and married Rudy Malek in 1940. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Phyllis and Iris; and brother, Stanley. Survivors include her son, Craig Malek; daughter, Nancy Rotts; and sister, Beverly Brown of Aurora, Colorado.
