Richard C. Busick, 67, of Titusville, Florida, died July 13, 2005 at Parrish Medical Center, Titusville. He was born November 27, 1937 to Jesse C. and Evelyn I. (Gates) Busick [late of Eagle Grove, Iowa] in Goodell, Iowa. Richard served in the Navy from 1954 to 1958 and in the Air Force and Army Reserve from 1961 to 1971. He worked as a Quality Inspector for NASA.

Richard married Helen Harden February 24, 1958. She survives. He is also survived by sons, Bret A. Busick and Brad K. Busick, both of Battle Creek and Blake S. (Cindy) Busick of Iowa; brothers, Ronald L. (Sandy) Busick of Titusville, Roger D. (Katie) Busick of Dearborn, Randy (Lynda) Busick of Bellevue; and sister, Sharon Sweazey of Clarion, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Sharon Renee Busick, brother, Robert Busick and sister, Karen Busick. Richard was a member of the American Legion.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Shaw Funeral Home. Graveside services 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2005, at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Rev. James Hill, officiating. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association. The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home.
