April 23, 2004Ingeborge C. Anderson, age 89, of Arden Hills, formerly of Bloomington. Ing was born June 17, 1914 in Thor, IA to Tillie & Sever Nesheim. Ing graduated from Waldorf College, Forest City, IA in elementary education and taught all grades in a one room school. She taught in Parkersburg and Humboldt, IA, where she met her husband, the late Rev. Oscar B. Anderson. The couple worked as a "team" in the churches served by Oscar in Sioux City, IA, Janesville, WI, and Bloomington, MN. At age 45 she completed her B.A. in Education at Bemidji State University. Her final teaching assignment was at Hubert Olson Elementary in Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her husband; son David; and brothers, Arthur and Alvin Nesheim. Survived by son, Wayne (Velora); daughters, Lois M. Anderson (Albert Nygren) and Roselyn (Raymond) Albers; grandchildren, Kirsten, Rachel, Eric, and Sigurd; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Lynden, and Nolan. The family is grateful for the excellent care and kindness which she received at the Presbyterian Home of Arden Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Funeral service Saturday, April 24, 2 PM, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 8600 Fremont Ave S., Bloomington. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at church & Friday (TODAY) 5-8 PM at: Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel W. 50th at Hwy 100.
