KANAWHA, IA -- Emma Pauline Rhoads, 93, of Kanawha, died Thursday (Dec. 14, 1995) at the Kanawha Community Home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church of Kanawha, with the Rev. Matthew Miller officiating. Burial will be in Amsterdam Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Ewing Funeral Home, Kanawha.

Emma Pauline Rhoads was born Sept. 5, 1902, in Kanawha. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Miller of Gravois Mills, Mo., and Ruby Carlson of Lone Rock; one son, Harold Rhoads of Kanawha; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one infant daughter, one brother and three sisters.
