Services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2008, at La Grone Funeral Chapel, for Brooklyn Jill Stark, who passed away July 10, 2008, at University Hospital in Albuquerque. Services will be conducted by Rev. Richard Grisham. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Brooklyn was born July 29, 2007, in Roswell, to Dustin Stark and MiRanda McPherson Chapman. Her parents survive her at the family home, as do two brothers and a sister, Gavin, Robby, and Hannah Chapman. Her maternal family includes grandmother, Mary McPherson of Roswell; grandfathers, Kevin Swearingen and wife, Bonnie, of Vacaville, Calif., and Tony Earnest of Roswell; aunts, uncles and cousins, Ricci Sappington and husband, TJ, and their children Craig, Aubrey and Laura, Acacia Wagner and her children, Acadia, Baiden and an unborn boy, and Antheni Jill Earnest, all of Roswell, Tasha Gorman and husband, Jerohn, and their children Avory and Sidney of Albuquerque, Breanna Quintero and husband, Gus, and their children Emi and an unborn baby, of Eureka, Calif., Keisha Swearingen and fiancé, Paul Contreras, of Vacaville, and Jeb Swearingen and wife, Kristen, and their children, ShaeAnne, Riley, Annika and Evan of Las Cruces; great-grandparents, Louise and Doug Robinson of Roswell; great-aunt, great-uncle and cousins, Melissa Waltmire and husband, Jason, and their children Katie, Grace and Morgan of Roswell; great-grandmother, Billie Ray of Roswell, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins, Brenda Buckelew and husband, Doug, and their children, Breanna and Cody of Roswell, Lisa Simmons and husband, Gary, and their son, Hayden, of Lubbock; great-uncles, great-aunts and cousins, Mark Earnest and wife, Leslie, and their children and grandchildren, Brandon Halpain and wife, Monique, and their children Ezekiel and Olivia and Emilea of Roswell, Tommy Earnest and wife, Maureen, of Roswell and their children, Mark Earnest and wife, Susie, of Alamogordo, and Anne Marie Weaver and husband, Mark, of Lubbock.

Brooklyn was full of life and smiles and joy for everyone's path she crossed. Her sudden departure leaves us all with a hole in our heart... We all love you, baby girl.
