KANAWHA - George Schreur, 93, of Kanawha, died Friday (April 24, 1998) at his son's home in Kanawha. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Kanawha Christian Reformed Church, with the Rev. G. David Daley officiating. Burial will be in Amsterdam Cemetery, Kanawha. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Ewing-Dugger Funeral Chapel, Kanawha, and one hour prior to services at the church.

George Schreur was born Oct. 31, 1904, in Kanawha. Survivors include one daughter, Ruth Dirksen, of Buffalo Center; one son, Robert Schreur, of Kanawha; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Eekhoff, Kanawha; and two brothers, Bill Schreur, of Kanawha, and Herm Schreur, of Lynden, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers and two sisters. Ewing Dugger Funeral Home.
