Mark David Yenck, the son of James N. and H. Arlene (LaRue) Yenck, was born July 27, 1951 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was raised and educated in Eagle Grove, attending Eagle Grove Schools. Mark enjoyed fishing, friends and family. He was employed by Jet-Co in Humboldt for over 15 years. Mark passed away on Monday, June 23, 2008 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, at the age of 56 years. He was preceded in death by his father, step-father, Merrill Hanson, 2 infant sisters, an infant brother, and sister, Mary Slater. Mark is survived by his mother of Eagle Grove, sisters Susan Smith of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Kelly Dodge of Webster City, and brother, James Yenck of Harlan, Iowa. Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove, with Rev. Bob Dishman, officiating. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove.
