Opal Samuelson, 82, passed away October 26, 2003. Opal was born October 9, 1921 in Dows, IA. She retired from Lutheran Hospital. Opal will be missed by her daughter, Karol Simmons her granddaughter, Kim Benefiel her great-granddaughter, Melissa Hartman two sisters, Hazel Newman and Vivian Grieman and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Gaylon Roberts. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday at Fairview Cemetery in Dows.
