HAMPTON — Pamela (Gauley) Miller, 45, of Hampton, died Wednesday (July 6, 2005) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa East Campus in Mason City. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2005, at the First Christian Church in Hampton with the Rev. Terra Amundson officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2005, at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home, 306 Central Ave. E. in Hampton. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Hampton or to Hospice of North Iowa.

Pam was born Feb. 24, 1960, in Mason City, the daughter of Richard and Lois (Moore) Gauley. She graduated from Sheffield-Chapin High School and earned an A.A. degree from North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, then went on and earned her B.A. degree from Buena Vista University, Mason City Center. She was united in marriage to Russell Miller on Oct. 30, 1991, in Hampton. Pam worked at Fareway Grocery Store in Hampton and was a member of the First Christian Church in Hampton. She enjoyed wood crafts, crocheting, knitting, gardening and flowers, and spending time with her family.

Pam is survived by her husband, Russell Miller, of Hampton; three sons, Sgt. Matthew and wife, Angela Wharton, of Dows, Luke and wife, SheRee Wharton, of Dows, and Steven Miller, of Hampton; two step-sons, Monty Miller and Nathan Miller, both of Hampton; a brother, Mike, and wife, Janice Gauley, of Nevada; four sisters, Debra and husband, Phil Thomas, of Cedar Rapids, Jane and husband, Jim Anthony, of Clarks Grove, Minn., Beverly Weipert, of Cedar Falls, and Sherrie Gauley and friend, David Foster, of Chicago, Ill.; and five step-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents.
