Webster City, IAMyron “ Pat “ Patterson, 67, of Webster City, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Southfield Wellness Community. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Phil Somsen officiating. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5-7 p.m. Sunday.
Myron Trent Patterson, son of John and Ora Trent Patterson, was born September 25, 1940 at Webster City. He received his education in Webster City schools. He started working at Raven’s Body Shop. On March 3, 1960, he married Donna Paulette Kepler at Webster City. The couple resided at Webster City and he continued working at Raven’s. For several years, he owned and operated Pat’s auto body repair shop at Webster City. He also worked in the Russ Cress Chevrolet – auto body shop. He was a truck driver for Winnebago at Forest City for 20 years retiring in 1999 because of failing health.
Pat is survived by his wife, Donna; daughters, Karen Patterson and Kay Zhou, both of Ames; Kathy Turner of Woolstock; Kris Janvrin of Webster City; grandchildren, Brandon Patterson; Brian and Christopher Turner; Nick and Baylee Janvrin and Dulis Zhou; great-grandchildren, Ethan Patterson and Olivia Hoffard; brother, Eugene Patterson of Sweet Home, OR; sisters, Annabelle Johnson of Clarion; Opal Yoder of Woolstock; Gweneth Anderson of Williams; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; John and Ora and step-father, Lawrence Benton; brothers, John and Gerald Patterson; step-brother, George Benton; sisters, Maxine Barton and Mary Ahrends.
He had formerly attended the Trinity Lutheran Church.
