ALDEN—Robert George Bouillon, 75, of Alden died Thursday, March 24, 2005. Funeral services were held Monday, March 28, at the United Methodist Church of Alden with the Rev. Rick Layman officiating. Burial followed in the Alden Cemetery with military rites conducted by Collins-Dunning American Legion Post No. 201 of Alden.

Robert was born Nov. 10, 1929, in Galt, the son of Maurice and Marie Josephine (Oulmann) Bouillon. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War where he received the Purple Heart. He had been employed by Ralston Purina for over 35 years. Bob enjoyed fishing, camping and the Chicago Cubs.

Bob is survived by a sister, Norma Beyer of Dows; a brother, Marcel Bouillon of Charles City; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Emil; a sister, Marie; and a special friend, Fay Fresse. Surls Funeral Home of Alden was in charge of the arrangements.
