Maryella Williams Timms, age 87, of Macomb, Illinois died at 11:35 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Heartland Healthcare Center in Macomb.

She was born on April 21, 1920 in Troy Township, [Wright County] Iowa the daughter of Alva and Ursula Moser Williams. She married Walter Timms in Eagle Grove, Iowa on September 25, 1942. He preceded her on September 5, 1976. She is survived by 2 daughters Patricia Timms of Sandy Springs, Georgia, Linda (George) Damman of Normal, Illinois, and 1 son Max Timms of Orinda, Calf. She was preceded by her parents, husband, 1 sister Bernadine Kist and 1 brother Richard Williams.

Maryelle graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1937, from Iowa State University in 1941, moved to Macomb in 1946. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Salvation Army, Macomb Womens Club, Anna Parker Club, MDH Hospital Womens Auxiliary.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Macomb on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., the family will meet with friends one hour prior to services at the church. Clugston - Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of the arrangements. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Macomb Salvation Army or to the First Presbyertian Church in Macomb.
