John Frank Rapp
November 2, 1892 -- December 4, 1959John, eldest son of Anthony and Elizabeth Rapp, was born at his present home on a farm near Woolstock. He was baptized in infancy in the French Lutheran faith. He was raised to manhood on the farm he occupied, and lived in that vicinity all his life. He was united in marriage to Nora Geneva Allen Dec. 16, 1914. To this union, three children were born; a son, Francis of Clarion, a daughter Neva McGrath of Roswell, New Mexico, and a son who died in infancy. He is survived by his wife, her two children, three grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Hilpipre, Miss Katie Rapp and Mrs. Ethel Reinhardt, all of Webster City. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Earl and a brother who died in infancy. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion.
