1864 - March 12, 1919

Ella Watson was a well known dressmaker. She passed away at her home in the south part of town Thurs. affternoon at 2 o'clock. Her many friends had known of her declining health and the end was expected at any time. Early last summer her sufferings began and a surgical operation revealed what had been feared that an internal cancer formed in a form which indicated an early fatality. Miss Watson was a retiring yet forceful personality and will be greatly missed from our community.

She is survived by her mother Mrs. Thos. Watson, two brothers and two sisters Charles of Clarion, Edward of Waterloo, Mrs. J. F. Buck of Clarion and Mrs. Martha Peterson of Ft. Dodge; all of whom were present at the service others in attendance were: Mrs. Clara Eaton, Misses Blanche, Hazel, Mable and Neva Peterson, Arthur Peterson, Mr. McDougall, and Fred Koch. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion.
