Steven S. Stryker, 62, of Waterloo, Ill., born Nov. 15, 1945, in Goldfield, Iowa, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. Mr. Stryker worked as an electrician for Olin Brass.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Verna, nee Gereau, Stryker. Surviving are his wife, Jessie, nee Clossen, Stryker of Waterloo, Ill.; five children, Roger (Mary) Stryker of Decatur, Ill., Mike (Kathy) Stryker of Waterloo, Ill., Shawn (Chris) Collins of North Carolina, Shane (Nikki) Stryker of Ballwin, Mo., and Steven Stryker of Belleville, Ill.; a brother, Robert (Nancy) Stryker; a sister, Jo Godshall; and 15 grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at Valhalla-Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at Valhalla-Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., with the Rev. Ted Engelsdorfer officiating. Interment will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill. VALHALLA-HOLTEN FUNERAL HOME, Belleville, Ill.
