Visitation: 9:30 a.m. until the service time Saturday at Bellevue Presbyterian Church. Kingery-Lemke Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Bellevue, is in charge of the arrangements.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Dr. Marsha M. Wilfong officiating.

BELLEVUE — Robert “Bob” K. White, 85, of Bellevue, died Wednesday [January 31, 2007] at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue. Burial will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Bellevue, where full military honors will be conducted by Bellevue American Legion Post 273.

He was born March 6, 1921, in Belmond to Joseph S. and Berniece Legge White. He married Alice M. Schirmer on Oct. 7, 1972, in Grand Island, N.Y. She died in 1996. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as a first lieutenant bomber navigator. He was an insurance investigator in the Buffalo, N.Y., area for 30 years. He moved to Bellevue in 1975 and owned and operated L&J Maid-Rite until July 1981. He was a member of the Bellevue American Legion and a volunteer with the Bellevue Ambulance Service for 15 years. He served as a board member at the Young Museum and was a former chairman of the board of trustees.

Survivors include one son, Robert C. White of Texas; one daughter, Jo-Ann (James) Mac Clellan of New York; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and two stepsons, Roger and Donald O’Connor.
