AUSTIN, WILKE, KLUNDER, GROSSMEN

CLEAR LAKE - Funeral services for Joseph Nathanial Austin, 27, McComb, Miss., formerly of Clear Lake, will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Clear Lake. He died Saturday (July 16, 1983) in McComb. Mr. Austin was born in 1956 in Ontario, Calif., to Paul and Eunice (Wilke) Austin. A graduate of Clear Lake High School, he worked for the American Cheeseman Co., Brodhead, Wis., and for Triggs Mfg., in Belmond. He attended Roustabout School and worked at Ribstock Drilling Co., for one year. He was also employed as a derrick hand for Fluor Drilling Services, Inc.

He married Lorene Klunder in 1981 in McComb, Miss., and served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. Visitation will be after 4 this afternoon at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 tonight.

Survivors include his parents, Paul and Eunice Austin, Clear Lake; his wife, Lorene, McComb, Miss.; one daughter, Amber Nichole Austin, McComb, Miss.; one sister, Debra K. Austin, Denver, Colo.; one brother, Jeffry R., Brodhead, Wis., and a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Wilfred (Edna) Grossmen, Deerfield, Wis.
