ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -Mark D. Dockwell, 53, of Englewood, Col., formerly of Dows and Coulter areas, died Dec. 6, 2007 at his home in Colorado. Funeral services for Mark D. Dockwell will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007 at the Dows United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kalen Fristad officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Visitation for Mark Dockwell will be from 5 until 7 p.m. today, Dec. 21, at the Dugger Ewing Funeral Home in Dows and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Mark, the son of Lyle and the late Mary Lou Ennis Dockwell, was born June 25, 1954, in Clarion, Iowa. He grew up in the Dows area and graduated from Dows High School with the Class of 1972. Following graduation from high school, Mark attended NIACC where he received his Associate Arts Degree. In 1975, Mark moved to Colorado where he had since resided. Mark was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

Mark is survived by his father, Lyle (Joan) of Latimer; sister, Karen Butler (John), of Tahlequah, Okla.; three nephews: Victor Butler (Emily) and their children Victoria and Ella, of Norman, Okla., Vance Butler (Nicole) of Tulsa, Okla., Aaron Butler, of Moore, Okla.; three aunts: Myrtle, Hazel, and Gladys; and one uncle, George. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1978. Dugger Ewing Funeral Home.
