Rites Thursday for Grant Bray, Age 84.

Grant Bray, age 84, resident of Goslin Court, Spooner, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, at the Spooner Hospital. He was born April 10, 1888, at Dows, Iowa. On June 10, 1920 he was united in marriage to Nellie Hageman [ed. HAGENSON] at Thompson, Iowa. They came to the town of Trego in 1923, in 1929 moved to the town of Spooner and in 1970 moved to Goslin Court in Spooner. He engaged in farming until his retirement. Mr. Bray was a member of the Woodmen of World and the Tri-County Barracks No. 1797 at Stone Lake.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie and one daughter, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Hoppe, of Princeton, Minn.; also three grandchildren. Five brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1 at 2 p.m. at United Methodist Church, Rev. Al Eliason officiating and burial in Earl Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded at the grave. Dahl Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
