John "Jack" Higgins, age 83, died peacefully at Auburn West Nursing Home in Waconia, Minnesota. Formerly of Excelsior. Born in Clarion, Iowa. Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret. Survived by daughter & son-in-law, Robin & Trent Compton of Chanhassen, MN; son & daughter-in-law, Alan & Roxann Higgins; grandsons, Tony, Kyle, and James. Memorial service April 9, 2001 at Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave S., Mpls. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery in Excelsior.
