EAGLE GROVE, July 3.—Funeral services for Mrs. Charles J. Crovisier, 52, were held at the funeral parlors on Tuesday afternoon in charge of the Rev. W G. Muhleman of the Methodist church, and burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery. Mrs. Crovisier, whose maiden name was Mary Kastler, was born on a farm east of Woolstock, and grew to womanhood in that neighborhood. She was married to Mr. Crovisier in 1907, who died two years ago. Surviving her are eight children; five boys and two girls, namely, Milford, Clarence, John, Harry and Fred; Mildred, Margaret and Ethel, all living at home. Also surviving are five sisters; Mrs. Ella Hilpipre of Elmore, Minn.; Mrs. Emma Mourlam and Mrs. Anna Craig, Woolstock; Mrs. Carrie Gaster, Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Lydia Claude, Sault Center, Minn; four brothers, George and John Kastler, Woolstock; Charles, Eagle Grove, and Edward, St. Paul, Minn. Mrs. Kastler was baptized in the French Lutheran faith, there being a church of that denomination near Woolstock, but the family has been identified in many ways with the Methodist church for years past.

ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. CHARLES J. CROVISIER

Mother of eight children is called to great beyond after a lingering sickness. The community was saddened Sunday when it learned of the death of Mrs. Charles Crovisier. Since the death of her husband two years ago, she has continued in charge of the home far two miles southeast of Eagle Grove. With admirable fortitude she has kept her family together and carried on despite the almost insuperable difficulties encountered. The entire community joins in extending to the orphaned children and sorrowing relatives its heart felt sympathy. The following deserved tribute was read at the funeral service by Mrs.
Crovisier's pastor, the Rev. W. G. Muhleman: Mary Kastler, daughter of Henry and Louise Kastler, was born February 4, 1878 on a farm east of Woolstock and passed away at her home near Eagle Grove, Iowa on June 29, 1930 at 5:20 AM at the age of 52 years, 4 months and 24 days. She grew to womanhood in the Woolstock vicinity and was baptized in the French-Lutheran faith. For seven years she was employed in Eagle Grove and while there attended the Baptist Church. On February 22, 1907 she was united in marriage to Charles J. Crovisier. Eight children were born to this union. They are: Mildred, Milford, Clarence, Margaret, John, Harry, Fred and Ethel, all of who are living and residing at home. Her husband passed away on May 18, 1928. Mrs. Crovisier's last illness was of several weeks duration. She was confined to her bed for eight weeks before her death. The family has been identified with the Methodist Church for some time in various ways. The pastor has called in the home at various times. He has been glad to find that Mrs. Crovisier was calm in her religious faith and steadfast in her Christian convictions. She was resigned to her fate and faced the inevitable in an uncomplaining manner and with a faith expressed in almost her last conscious moments that Christ saved her. Her faith which she lived is best expressed in her favorite poem.

MOMENT BY MOMENT
Dying with Jesus, His death reckoned mine;
Living with Jesus, a new life divine;
Looking to Jesus 'til glory doth shine,
Moment by moment, 0 Lord I am thine.
Never a trial that He is not there,
Never a burden that He doth not bear,
Never a sorrow that He doth not share;
