Services for Glen Thomas, 81, of Woolstock and formerly of Waterloo, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home in Webster City with burial in Graceiand Cemetery there. Mr. Thomas died Monday night at Southfield Nursing Home in Webster City of cancer. He was born Oct. 5, 1898, in Missouri, son of Jacob and Myrtle Evans Thomas. He and his wife, Hazel, were married Jan. 27, 1923. He moved to Waterloo in 1968 and served as the custodian of First Congregational Church until his retirement in 1974 when he moved to Woolstock. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Nadine King of 4212 Spruce Hills Drive, Cedar Falls, and Mrs. Phyllis Balsley of Woolstock; five sisters; and a brother.
