April 15, 1942James W. Watkins Dies at Farm Home North of Woolstock
EAGLE GROVE—James Walter Watkins, 75, retired farmer, died Tuesday at the farm home, one mile north of Woolstock. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Orcutt farm five miles north, east of Woolstock, with hurial in Woolstock cemetery by Kubitschek and Kastler of Eagle Grove. He is survived by one brother with whom he had been living and one sister, [Williams] living in Minnesota. He was unmarried. Born in Kenosha county. Wis., he had lived in Iowa and this community for 70 years. He was a brother of Mrs. Minnie Orcutt, who died March 31.
