Steig Services Are Conducted at Eagle Grove

EAGLE GROVE—Funeral services were held on Thursday at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church for Leonard Steig, 50, who died Tuesday morning at the Clarion Memorial Hospital of injuries received on Sunday morning in a two-car collision three mites west of Clarion. The Rev. Lothar Brauning, interim pastor at Mount Calvary was in charge. Burial was in Storm Lake. Survivors are Mrs. Steig and two sons, Carl, Eagle Grove, and Fred, who is in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Steig had operated a Smoke Shop here for more than 10 years.
