Former Railroad Man Dies at Eagle Grove

EAGLE GROVE — Henry N. Roseland, widower, 86, retired Chicago & Northwestern railway employe, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mabel Peterson, Tuesday morning. Funeral services were held at the East Side Lutheran church Thursday at 2 p. m.. in charge of the Rev. T J. Severtson, pastor of the church Burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Peterson of Eagle Grove, and Mrs. Esther Gunderson, Beloit, Wis., and by one brother, Nels N., in Eagle Grove. Mr. Roseland was born in Sondhordland, Norway, coming to the United States 55 years ago, and his home has been in Eagle Grove ever since.
