EAGLE GROVE, Aug. 4 —Funeral services for William Broeffle, 71, were held at the Methodist church in charge of the pastor, the Rev. W. G. Muhleman. Burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery. Mr. Broeffle was horn in Lawrence county, New York, coming to Mendota, Ill., with his parents, when he was seven years of age. Fourteen years later he came to Eagle Grove where he had lived since.
