Clarence H. Cooper, 88, of 3809 Second Ave. SW, formerly of Goldfield, died Saturday, March 18, 1995, in Mercy Medical Center after a short illness. Services: 9 a.m. Wednesday, Teahen Funeral Home, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. LeRoy Collins will officiate. Burial: Buffalo Township Cemetery, Titonka.

Survivors include a daughter, Myrna Stoltenberg and husband Gene of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Terri Dryland and husband David, and Mark and Brad Stoltenberg; and three great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Daniel Dryland and Kylie Stoltenberg. He was preceded in death by his brother.

Born Dec. 10, 1906, in Ladora, Clarence married Martha Ness on Jan. 1, 1932, in Pine Island, Minn. She died in 1987. Clarence retired from Farmer's Elevator, Goldfield, in 1968. He was a member of the Masons at Bower Lodge, Eagle Grove, for 50 years and a recent member of El Kahir Temple. A memorial fund has been established.
