Peder Norman Bjorbekk, 37, of 3108 Blue Bird Dr., Holiday, Fla., formerly of East Hartland, died Monday (August 15, 1994) in East Hartland. Born in Hartford, September 12, 1956, son of Evelyn (Gundersen) Bjorbekk of East Hartland, and the late Isak Bjorbekk, he graduated Gilbert High School, Winsted in 1974. Peder was a youth leader at Bethany Lutheran Brethren Church, East Hartland and had been a charter member of Praise Christian Fellowship in West Hartland. He attended the Sunshine Lutheran Brethren Church, Holiday Fla. Beside his mother, Evelyn of East Hartland, he leaves his wife Jane (Larson) Bjorbekk; two sons, Jacob I. and Jarrod D.; and a daughter Marie K., all at home; his brother Edwin of Colchester; two sisters Jeanne Hoidalen of Holiday, Fla., and Karin Senland of Granby; four nephews, six nieces, and his father and mother-in-law, Duane and Barbara Larson of Goldfield, Iowa. The funeral will be Friday, 2 p.m., at Bethany Lutheran Brethren Church, Walnut Hill Road, East Hartland. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, East Hartland. His family will receive friends Thursday from 7-9 p.m., at the Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook St., Granby.
