Falls Dead as He Hears Judge Send Son to Jail

Clarion, Ia., April 22 (AP).--Fred Gabel, 57 years old, retired farmer, fell dead of a heart attack in the county courthouse here today as District Judge T. G. Garfield sentenced his son, Alexander, 26, to six months in jail. Young Gabel was charged with operating a motor vehicle without the consent of the owner.
