Funeral services for George Drew, 78, who died Monday morning after several years illness following two strokes, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church, Rev. V. V. Schuldt officiating. Burial was in the Clarion Evergreen cemetery. Eyler funeral home was in charge of arrangements. He was born at Cabery, Ill., and has been a resident of Clarion for 30 years. He is.a retired Chicago Great Western switchman. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Norem Wiche of Chicago, Ill., and two brothers, Otho Drew of Chicago, Ill., and Frank Drew of Los Angeles, Calif. One son preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war. He. was a member of the Clarion Methodist church and the Masonic lodge.
